To be honest I've been buying findings for quite some time.
These did not look 22K "Brushed" at all only smooth with the obvious seam. One of many reasons I prefer brushed gold
beads. I can still use them on a lesser design, but they were a disappointment as I was going to use them for a birthday present for my 91 year old Aunt...used 24K Gold Plated Fire polish czech beads instead. This was the lowest rated item I've bought from you so far. I've had this happen with Beads of Cambay and the Bead Traders in the past too. These plated beads are expensive for fixed low income seniors like me and selling my work on etsy is harder than ever you so you expect quality every time. But the world's all in a rush now. Sometimes they've sent out very poorly plated gold or sterling silver beads or clasps(they made good on the clasps but they were horrible bent up not flush and the plating was more like cheap gold paint that just peeled right off. It was obvious a poor job was done plating them and the briefest of inspections if at all. Also the clasp was Nice but the side that would connect to a jump ring was designed so oddly with no connection hold centered for proper draping I chose not use it. You may want to illustrate how to connect clasp if its an oddball like this one. Again it looked like if a thin piece of leather was use it would work but not a centered jump ring or wire guard. Also the clasp did not open easily. I had to pry it open with a plastic paint brush handle so as not to damage it.
Again, individual inspection would prevent these things.
I'll do business with you again,,,but I'll be very careful.
The Sterling silver plated beads did look nice. 1 out of 3. You caught me on a bad week I sold a 100 dollar necklace that the Postal service demolished in transit despite heavy styrofoam padding and a box ! I put in a claim but not gonna hold my breath. Despite being adamant about restringing it the buyer said not to worry they would restring it themselves and even gave me a positive review saying he would handle it and S___ happens, Don't stress...No worries.. A rare Gentleman...who could've reacted the opposite way. I was Under the gun to design this gift and ship by Saturday... so yeah, I wasn't well pleased, despite your sending out quality products the larger percentage of the time. I'm not going to hassle with a return...just won't.
